Marco works as journalist and media consultant. He teaches data driven journalism and delivers workshops on social media strategies and workflow optimization in Germany and other countries. Together with two partners he founded OpenDataCity, an agency for Data Driven journalism, which won several prestigious awards such as the Grimmepreis and the Online Journalism Award. Maas' speciality are OpenData, Linked Data, digital workflow optimization and social media strategies for media houses. He was already working for Google in Germany and he has already participated in Google-congresses as a speaker and panallists.
