We take data privacy very seriously. Below, we explain how your data is collected and processed upon visiting our website.

1. Data collection and retention

Naturally, you can use our services without disclosing any PII (Personally Identifiable Information). PII is defined as data that can be used to reveal your personal identity, i.e. your name, address, phone number, date of birth or e-mail address.

Upon visiting our website, the server will automatically save log-files, which cannot be attributed to any specific individual. Those files include for example, information about browser-type and -version, the operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited website), IP address of the accessing system, date and time of access, and the data accessed (file name and URL). This data is collected for statistical evaluation purposes only and will not be shared for commercial/non-commercial use, or with any third parties.

We collect data for security purposes in order to guarantee stability in our website services, and to protect us against potential cyber-attacks.

2. Use of personal data

Personal data will only be collected and processed if you enter that data voluntarily, i.e. if you contact us via e-mail. You reserve the right to revoke your personal data at any time during the process. Your data will not be passed on to any third parties unless it is required to be done so legally.

3. Contact form

We are always pleased to be contacted and if you desire to do so, you can find a contact form on our website. The data provided through that form will be encrypted and will not be shared with any third parties without your explicit permission. We will only retain your personal data on file for communication purposes only.

4. Information disclosure, alteration, and removal

According to the law, you reserve the right to send us a written inquiry about the collection and use of your personal data.

5. Personal data safety

The personal data that you provide will be protected according to all technical and organizational safety provisions and will not be accessible to any third party. However, when transmitting highly sensitive data or information, it’s advised for you to use the postal service instead of e-mail, as a full data protection cannot be guaranteed in the latter case.

If you request delivery of a service or good, your personal data will only be collected and saved up until the completion of the requested service or good. No other personal data will be collected.

7. Web analysis

We analyze data for statistical purposes using the analytical tool ‘Matomo’ (www.matomo.org). Matomo is a tool promoting data privacy, as such, it anonymizes personal data. This is primarily achieved by partially masking any IP addresses, which eliminates an identifiable connection to it. In addition and as a common practice, any data that remains on our servers will not be transferred to the provider of our servers or equipment. Furthermore, Matomo recognizes if you choose to not have your online activities traced on your device or in your web browser.

8. Services by external providers

In our website, we integrate services from Google such as YouTube videos and maps. With these services embedded, this leads to your IP address being passed on to such service providers. We have no authority on how these providers utilize that data. Please contact Google directly and/or adjust your privacy policy settings there. More information can be found in Google’s data privacy statement

9. Alteration of data protection disposition

In order to protect your personal data, we often update these dispositions. Please read these guidelines to occasionally stay informed as to how we protect your personal data and continuously strive to improve the contents of our website. If we plan to significantly change the collection, utilization, or transmission of your personal data, we will indicate this with an explicitly visible message on our website.
